Licence terms
Version of 13 October 2026
Buying a module gives you a licence to use it. The licence of each module is stated on its product page in the Technical details block.
Modules under OPL-1
The Odoo Proprietary License v1.0 applies. In short:
- You may use the module and modify it for your own needs.
- You may not publish, distribute, sublicense or sell copies of the module or of its modified versions.
- You may develop your own modules that depend on it.
Modules under LGPL-3
The GNU Lesser General Public License v3 applies: you may use, modify and redistribute the module on the terms of that licence.
What the purchase includes
- The module archive for the Odoo version you selected. Other Odoo versions are purchased separately.
- The module as it is at the time of purchase.
- Installation, configuration and custom changes are not included; they can be ordered as a separate service.
Full licence texts
The text of the licence is included in the module archive. If the short summary above differs from the licence text, the licence text prevails.
