Odoo Community is a great ERP with a modest face. The apps hide in a small dropdown, everything is purple, there is no dark mode, and anyone who has ever confirmed an invoice on the wrong database knows how alike production and staging look. NDev Theme fixes that, and brings three everyday tools with it.
A home screen worth opening
The apps dropdown becomes a full-screen grid: apps grouped by area (Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Inventory & Manufacturing…), or one plain grid if you prefer. Star the apps you use most and drag them into your own order; the ones you opened lately sit right next to them. Start typing and the grid searches every menu item, not just the apps, showing the full path. Typed it on the wrong keyboard layout? It finds it anyway. Alt+H opens the grid from anywhere, arrow keys and Enter do the rest, and each user can pick the app Odoo opens at start.
Your colours — and a red menu for staging
A Theme tab in Settings sets the brand colour of buttons, links and the status bar, and the background and text of the top menu. No SCSS, no developer. The trick our customers love most: give each database its own menu colour. Keep production calm and paint the staging copy red, and nobody posts a real invoice on a test database again.
Dark mode for Community
Odoo Community has no dark palette. The theme brings one: a Dark mode switch in the user menu, remembered per user on every device. Forms, lists, kanban, calendar, pivot tables and the app grid all follow it.

Right-click any cell to show only that value, exclude it, or keep everything above or below it — the filter lands in the search bar like any other. Select rows and press Ctrl+C to paste them straight into Excel or Google Sheets, with headers, numbers as numbers and dates as dates. Drag columns into your own order and width; Odoo remembers them for you.
Included: Kanban Swimlanes & Sort
Sort cards by any field, on several levels. Split the board into swimlanes by a second field — say, stage × salesperson — and drag cards across lanes and stages. Select several cards to move them together or set a field on all of them at once.

Drag the chatter to any width or fold it away, and filter its feed to messages, notes, field changes or attachments.
